《SOS请救救我》改编自2001年日本TBS播出的电视剧《蛋糕上的草莓》，SOS是原作英文名字的首字母缩写。原作讲述了没有血缘关系的兄妹之间，以及师生之间的不为社会所容许的关系，是曾创作木村拓哉主演的《PRIDE》和《没有玫瑰的花店》的作家野岛伸司的作品。
